Belfast Day Tour

Perhaps the best-known landmark in Belfast is the City Hall in Donegall Square, the hub of Belfast life. Many of the surrounding, central area streets, where beautiful post-industrial Victorian buildings mingle with glossy style bars and designer shops of a very modern city, are now pleasantly pedestrianized and are within a short walking distance from Donegall Square.

Take time to shop around in the city streets or in one of the new shopping malls. Relax in the food court area of the Castlecourt Shopping Centre or wander around the 82 stores which sell everything from fashion to chocolates and all kinds of goods including watches, shoes and accessories.

Explore the old quarters of the city and discover the eccentric little alleyways with quaint old names and the narrow, twisting, cobbled streets full of some of the most quirky, historic and attractive buildings. In the Titanic Quarter take a journey through the history of shipbuilding in Belfast and visit the birth place of the ill-fated Titanic.

Whether you prefer shopping or visiting historic places Belfast, with its many and varied attractions, is a place for getting out and about.

We continue our journey via Maybole and Girvan before boarding the ferry at Stranraer to arrive in Belfast approximately 12:30.

We depart Belfast at 16:15 and travel on the 17:00 HSS sailing to Stranraer arriving back in Ayr at approximately 21:00
